See what happens when science comes out of the classroom!

This FREE family-friendly carnival of scientific spectacles features performances, games, and dozens of hands-on experiences sure to spark wonder and fuel the imagination. Join real scientists from the community in exploring our world from the atomic to the celestial.

Know Before You Go!

ALL guests must complete the event waiver:

Individuals 17 years and under unaccompanied by an adult must bring with them the printed waiver signed by their parent/guardian; minors without the required signed document will not be admitted. Waiver copies will be available at the event entrance for adults.

Anatomy and Physiology

Race through a circulatory system or test your physical abilities and set a carnival record.

Biotechnology

Make glow-in-the-dark jewelry, take home an algae pet, or create a keychain of your DNA.

Biology

Extract DNA from a strawberry or compete with other “birds” for food.

Discover your superpowers and mutations, dig for artifacts, or hurl a meteor at Earth.

Microbiology

Assemble viruses, see how clean or dirty your hands really are, or play Zap That Zit!

Chemistry

Make glow-in-the-dark slime, create edible root beer spheres, eat liquid nitrogen ice cream, or witness a “trashcano.”

Geology

Control land using an augmented reality sandbox, create edible strata, or check out the stream table.

Fire Science

Learn about the fire triangle, fight a digital fire, or suit up as a firefighter.

Environmental Sciences

Take on a nocturnal animal scavenger hunt, learn about monarch butterflies and our butterfly garden, or make anti-collision window clings to help protect birds.

Veterinary Technology

Listen to a dog’s heart, examine heartworms, or play Pin the Bone on the Horse.

BluePearl Vet Hospital and In-Sync Exoctics (Wylie).

Physics

Build a rocket and receive a commemorative mission patch, play a Theremin, use a telescope to see the Moon, or get a new hairdo with a Van de Graaf generator.

Scholarship giveaway!

A $1,500 scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year at Collin College will be given away during the event, courtesy of the Collin College Foundation. High school seniors and college students may enter the giveaway at the event.
